LED bulbs are constantly increasing in efficiency.  Now, most LED bulbs can actually reach over 100 lumens per watt.  This is around 50% more efficient than LED bulbs from 2012.  Not only that, but experts expect LED lighting to increase in efficiency, reaching around 150 lumens per watt by 2020 and over 200 lumens per watt by 2025.  These improving systems show that it’s always a good time to upgrade your lighting, even if you’re already using LED fixtures and lighting systems.
