Our Starting Point …
Martek was born in 1974, with a vision from the founder, Robert Anzalone, to supply light bulbs that lasted longer than the common incandescent bulbs on the market. At that time, his focus was in the elevator industry; he designed and produced Neon bulbs that did just that. Little did he realize, 40 years later, we would have the same mission through our distribution of LEDs.
Over the next several decades, Martek grew to become a leader as a light bulb distributing company and as a specialized manufacturer. While we were often known as the company who can source the hard to find bulbs (yes, we can supply virtually any bulb under the sun), we have become so much more.
At the forefront of LED technology
Martek has been at the forefront of LED technology, for a wide range of industries, since the turn of the century. From small indicator LEDs or high wattage industrial replacements, to ambient LEDs for hospitality applications, we are the experts in understanding what product will be best fit your needs!
In addition to sourcing the best LED for each of our customer’s needs, we also offer the service of Safety Coating our products. This has proved to be extremely valuable for our customers in the hospitality industry, as we understand there are regulations with the Food and Health Administration. Above all, our mission is to serve our clients’ individual needs by supplying the most appropriate products, at a competitive price.
